Sometimes its the simple cards that turn out the best.
This one uses just Stamps, Ink & Paper (the stamping SIP), with a little heat embossing.
I simply sponged the colors onto Whisper White card stock, starting with the lightest. I used So Safron, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red. Then I rubbed the Embossing Buddy over the card, so the emossing powder wouldn’t stick to the background. I stamped the image from Upsy Daisy with VersaMark ink, then used Black Emboss Powder. I also embossed the sentiment from Inspired by Nature. After embossing, I made the grass (from Basic Black card stock) using the Scallop Edge Punch! I simply punched every 1/4″ in or so, rather than using the guidelines. This created a curved, jagged grass line.

New Phone #
I’ve updated the “Contact Me” section, but also wanted to mention it here. Because of the move, I had to change my phone #. The new one is 916-647-3040.
Talk about speaking too soon!
A couple posts ago, I said that I was trying to post every day in April. Um, that was over two weeks ago. And I had been doing so well!
It came to an abrubt halt because we’re moving. Everything happened so fast and I’ve been spending all my time painting the new place and packing our things that I haven’t had time to post. The big moving day should be May 9th.
We’re still in the area- only about 15 minutes away from our old house. Our new address is 9141 Brevard Dr, Sacramento 95829. Its between Gerber and Calvine, near Elk Grove Florin Rd. Click on the address for a map.
Due to the move, I’ll have to take a few weeks off from stamping events. So, I won’t be holding the Monthly Card Class or PMS Crop Night next month. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I’m not sure when I’ll be able to post again. But once we get settled and I can spend a few minutes stamping, I’ll let you know!
