I love cards that have texture, or that are 3-D. I think it makes them more interesting. Some cards go a step further: interactive cards! These cards are so much fun to make- and to receive!
This is a Shaker Card. The focal point is a rubber stamped cupcake that shows through a window holding confetti. You can shake the card and the confetti moves all over the image.
I like to show the cards I make to my kids (they’re actually very constructive critics!). But I have a hard time getting my shaker cards back out of their hands. 
They’re too much fun!
I’ll be having a class soon to teach the Shaker card technique, along with the Slider and Spinner cards. I haven’t decided yet whether we’ll be making this particular Shaker, or another one. I have lots of ideas and will let you know when I pin one down!
